La targhetta di identificazione (6) riporta il modello di tavolo chirurgico veterinario, l’anno di costruzione e le principali caratteristiche tecniche, tra cui massa e carico massimo. E’ localizzata sulla base (3).

  • Page 17 • Quando si debba trasportare il tavolo chirurgico veterinario, ricordarsi di ancorarlo saldamente sul mezzo di trasporto (tramite funi od altri opportuni sistemi). Provvedere ad escludere la funzionalità delle ruote come illustrato di seguito. • La movimentazione del tavolo chirurgico veterinario, deve avvenire solo su pavimentazioni in piano e prive di asperità ed avvallamenti. • Durante la movimentazione, prestare attenzione a non danneggiare il cavo di alimentazione ed i cavi delle pedaliere.

    • Un Tecnico specializzaTo dovrà: - effettuare il collegamento alla rete elettrica del tavolo chirurgico veterinario in conformità al contenuto della IEC 60364-1, con particolare riferimento alla presenza di un efficiente circuito di messa a terra; - verificare che il collegamento alla rete elettrica sia munito di adeguato fusibile e di interruttore differenziale che possa interrompere l’alimentazione se la corrente di dispersione verso terra supera i 30 mA per 30 ms; - verificare che l’alimentazione elettrica sia conforme ai dati riportati sulla targhetta (6): in particolar modo la tensione di alimentazione non deve differire di ± 5%.

Non toccarli con le mani bagnate. • Qualora il cavo di alimentazione fosse danneggiato, per la sua sostituzione, rivolgersi ad un Tecnico specializzaTo. • Non rimuovere le protezioni delle parti in movimento. • Non effettuare operazioni di manutenzione sul tavolo chirurgico veterinario se è in funzione.

    The symbol: cauTion that marks certain parts of the text, indicates the high probability to damage the veterinary surgical table if you do not follow their instructions and prescriptions. specificaTions anD Technical DaTa The veterinary surgical tables ergomed 99, in addition to a conventional veterinary surgery, permit to apply all techniques of positioning and skeletal traction, making them a real surgical instruments. They consist of a structure in stainless steel and interchangeable worktops, available in various versions (stainless steel, radiolucent Lexan ®, heated). The radiolucent worktops allow you to make the intraoperative fluoroscopy through them. The ergomed 99 - 2m-e standard version has up/down movement and longitudinal inclination (trendelenburg); ergomed 99 - 3m-e version has in addition the movement of lateral tilting.

    b) Warning plate. The warning plate (7) highlights some of the dangers that may arise in the use of veterinary surgical table. It is placed on the base (3). The worktops are interchangeable and are available as follows: • Lexan® radiolucent worktop; • stainless steel worktop; • heated worktop. universal clamp It is the fundamental element, which allows the connection of a large number of accessories to the veterinary surgical table. It is inserted into the guidance (8) and fixed in the desired position, tightening the knob (27). In the seats (29) can be entered, vertically or horizontally, the bars of a variety of accessories, allowing a great operating freedom; the bars are fixed in the desired position by tightening the lever (28) (refer to Fig. 7).

    It allows all instruments to be within easy reach in the surgical theatre. If the surgical table is tilted, the tray can be rotated so that it is always in horizontal position (refer to Fig. 14). siDe posiTioners They require the use of two universal clamps. They make it possible to stabilize those patients who, because of their body conformation or position, tend not to be stable in the desired surgical position. The positioners are curved enough to provide adequate restraint without exerting dangerous pressure on the patient. One positioner is curved to the right and the other one is curved to the left (refer to Fig. 15). TilTable fluiD collecTion pan It can be anchored at the end of the short side of the table using the clamp anchoring bars for fluid drainage.

    unpacKing Warning • Wear goggles, safety shoes and protective gloves during unpacking operations to avoid injury to the hands, feet and eyes. • The movement of the packed veterinarysurgical table must be done through proper equipment, having a capacity of at least 250 kg (550 lb). • The packing elements (pieces of strapping, pallets, cartons, plastic bags, paper clips, etc.) must not be left within reach of children as they are potential sources of danger. • The disposal of packaging components must be performed in compliance with applicable regulations in the country where you installed the veterinary surgical table. • Plastic packaging must not be discarded in the environment. • The lifting of the veterinary surgical table must be made by an appropriate equipment, having a load capacity of at least 150 kg (330 lb).

    operaTion Warning • Before using the veterinary surgical table, read carefully this instruction manual. • The veterinary surgical table is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge. • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the veterinary surgical table. • Comply with the safety instructions contained in the instruction manuals of any optional accessories that are used. • Before using the veterinary surgical table make sure it is positioned in a level, stable and dry location, to avoid it being upset or falling.

  • Page 35: Routine Maintenance

    We do not recommend the use of abrasive products. When finished, the materials used for sanitizing must be sent for disposal or sterilization, in accordance with the rules of the territory where the veterinary surgical table is used. During operations, or at the end of the same, you may want to impose on the worktop a longitudinal inclination as to facilitate the drainage of the products used for sanitizing. In any case, all operations must be conducted in the manner prescribed by the Veterinarian. It is advisable to carry out the cleaning operations at the end of each use and in any case, according to the needs provided by the Veterinarian.
  • Page 36 DismanTling Warning • Before dismantling the veterinary surgical table, ensure it cannot be used, for example by cutting the power supply cable and make safe parts that could be dangerous for children that may use the veterinary surgical table to play with. • Only trained personnel are allowed to dismantle the veterinary surgical table in accordance with the current regulations in the country where it is installed.
