Procedures for aligning the shaft coupling The pump is provided with a factory-aligned shaft coupling. The shaft coupling may be misaligned during pump installation or piping. When pump installation or piping is completed, check the alignment and realign it if necessary. If you continue to operate the pump with the shaft coupling misaligned, the pump may fail at an early stage. -
