Please review all steps prior to mounting The Freedom Light
Due to continuous product improvements for Steps 1 & 2 please follow the
instructions based on the model that you have purchased.
Model with Toggle ON/OFF Switch
Step 1:
FULLY CHARGE THE LIGHT FOR 48 HOURS.
Lights are shipped in the OFF
cellophane cover from the solar panel. Keep the light in the OFF
solar panel in direct sunlight for 48 hours prior to mounting it to the flagpole.
Step 2:
TEST THE LIGHT.
After fully charging the light, press down for the ON
light detector to test if the light is working. The light should shine immediately.
Prior to mounting the light onto any pole, make sure

- Page 2 Step 3: THREAD THE FASTENER STRIPS THROUGH THE MOUNTING BRACKET. After selecting the residential flagpole or surface you want to mount the light to, carefully thread the appropriate fastening strips through the slots on the mounting bracket. Step 4: MOUNT THE LIGHT ONTO THE RESIDENTIAL POLE. Attach the light to the pole. There are also screws enclosed if you want to mount the light to your deck or porch area. Secure the light to the pole or surface by tightening the strips. Step 5: POSITION THE LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE THE FLAG. Utilizing the gooseneck arm position the lamp to illuminate the flag. It is recommended that you adjust the solar panel so that it is aimed at the sun during midday. Since the sun’s position moves throughout the year, you should adjust the solar panel for the changing sun location as needed. This will assist in obtaining maximum solar charging of the batteries. Step 6: PERIODICALLY CLEAN THE SOLAR CELL LENS. For optimal product performance we recommend cleaning the solar cell and lens with a damp cloth.
