What is CART? CART-I is a ring-typed medical device that continuously monitors Atrial Fibrillation using ECG and PPG signals. It can be used by patients who are diagnosed with or suspected of Atrial Fibrillation. CART-I detects Atrial Fibrillation by recording the user’s pulse and electrocardiogram, analyzes the collected signals through a programmed algorithm and presents the results on the application.

How to find the perfect size ▪ When you purchase CART-I, we will send you a sizing kit first. ▪ In the sizing kit, there are 8 different sizes of ring mock-up. ▪ We recommend you use your index, middle or ring finger.

How to wear CART-I correctly . How to wear CART-I correctly? A. Please, wear your CART with the metal side(side with sensors inside) facing your palm. The top of the ring (shining plastic side) should be on the back of your hand as shown in the picture below.

Installation CART-I App . What is the minimum smartphone requirements to operate CART-I? ✓ iOS: iPhone 7 or later, iOS 10.0 or later ✓ Android: 6.0 or later (BT 4.1 or higher) ※You may download CART-App from Apple App Store and Google Play.

Installation CART-I App 1. Tap the Sign-up button at the right bottom of the main screen to sign up for our service. 2. Fill out the required fields (email, password, etc.) and tap Sign Up button. To verify your identification, an e- mail will be sent to you.

Register Ring on the App 1. When you wear CART-I, the initial Sensor Setting starts for data collection. Please, do no talk or move during initial Sensor Setting. 2. Wear the ring with the metal side facing your palm. The top of the ring(shining plastic side) should be on the back of your hand.

Background Check 1. CART-Ring continuously collects the user's PPG signals. 2. Background check is only measured on the hand you are wearing CART- Ring. (Unlike Self-check, the other hand not wearing the ring does not need to touch CART-Ring) 3. CART-App and CART-Ring are automatically synchronized only when the application is running.

REPORT Tab The results collected through the background check can be seen in the “REPORT tab” at the bottom of the screen ✓ You can check Atrial Fibrillation rate and heart rate on the “REPORT" tab. ✓ You can check the analyzed data by daily, weekly, and monthly as well.

REPORT Tab ✓ Help: Click icon on the upper left to see the detailed description on the Report screen. ✓ Move to the current date: Tap icon on the top right to see today’s data. ✓ You can see the data of the specific date by setting the date.

Self Check ✓ Self-check is a mode that monitors Atrial Fibrillation and heart rate for 30 seconds using PPG and ECG signals. ✓ Self-check shows collected ECG and PPG data. ✓ Please, do Self-check at least 3 times a day or whenever you feel any abnormal symptoms.

Self Check 1. Tap “Measure” button from the main screen of the CART app to start self-check. 2. Tap ‘Start’ button, and then it will start the measurement in 5 seconds. 3. Before the measurement starts, use the fingers of the other hand (without a CART) to gently touch the metal part (bottom of CART) as shown in the picture below and measure it for 30 seconds.

Do not wear other rings along with CART. ✓ Signal can be collected ineffectively in hot and humid places. ✓ Do not use the CART-I with low battery. ✓ A permanent or temporary change to the skin (e.g. tattoo) may affect the performance of the measurement sensor.
Place your CART-I in the right direction and fit it into the charging cradle provided. ✓ If CART-I is placed in the wrong direction, a red light will flash on the charging cradle. ✓ While being charged, the status LED of the cradle is lit in red; once fully charged, the LED turns green.

Then register the CART-ring on other person’s mobile phone with the new account. If device is not deleted from the previous phone, it may not be registered right.
