Safety 2.1 Safety Instructions The user’s manual contains important instructions and information related with operation safety and apparatus maintenance; and is an important part of the product. This apparatus is manufactured and tested according to the requirements on the safety of electrical apparatus for measurement, control and laboratory use.

Apparatus 3.1 Constitution and Parts of the Apparatus The slide stainer mainly consists of the staining system whose parts include loading station, water washing station, reagent station, oven station and unloading station; mechanical arm transport system, main control system, human-computer interaction system, fluid pathway system, power supply module, and main body cover.

DP261 disables the heating function of R9-R12 station and changes the oven station into reagent station. Therefore, the serial number of the station is R9-R13.

    3.2 Apparatus Models The apparatus is divided into three types according to the functional modules and configuration of stations in the staining cabins: DP260, DP261 and DP260s. Featuring the most complete configuration, DP260 has 1 loading station, 4 water washing stations, 17 reagent stations (including 4 reagent stations with heating functions), 1 oven station, and 3 unloading stations.

      4. Installation 4.1 Site Requirements • The experimental workbench is solid and completely horizontal, with smooth and flat surface. Its minimum width is 1m and minimum height is 0.8m. • The farthest distance from the corresponding water inlet / outlet on the apparatus back to the faucet is 2.5m and to the waste pipe is 2m.
