  • Page 2 Introduction Thank you for purchasing the Synovatron cvgt MM Buchla™ Translator ModuleModule™. This manual explains what the cvgt MM is and how it works. The cvgt MM is a ModuleModule format synthesizer module and is compatible with the Eardrill™ ModuleModule Model 041 Frame. The cvgt MM fits in any one of the four positions within the Model 041 frame.
  • Page 3 Eurorack variant: Switchcraft™ Tini-jax™ plug and 3.5mm jack socket incompatibility The Eurorack variant cvgt MM, shown above, has 3.5mm jack sockets for Eurorack connections. Please be warned that connecting a Switchcraft™ Tini- jax™ plug to a 3.5mm jack socket will damage the 3.5mm jack contacts as the Tini-jax plug has a larger diameter.
  • Page 4 MM User Manual cvgt MM Description The cvgt MM has four channels; two for CV signal translation and two for timing signal translation. These are described as follows:- 1.2V/Octave to 1V/Octave CV Translation Channel This is a precision buffered DC coupled attenuator with an attenuation factor of 0.8333.

  • Page 11 Model 041 frame. Double check that the connector has been plugged in correctly; it is keyed to prevent misconnection so it should be straightforward. Fit the two 4-40 UNC screws supplied to fix the cvgt MM into the Model 041 frame (nylon washers are also supplied).
