    1. Document Overview This document contains introduction to GoBoard B2, its features, construction and working to the end user. Document Intend It is the intent of this document to capture the information needed to provide a high level understanding to a freshman to get familiar with GoBoard B2 which is a product by ROBOCNN.

    2. Introduction to GoBoard B2 GoBoard B2 is the boosted version of electric skateboard developed by ROBOCONN. GoBoard is the brand name of electric skateboard and B stands for boosted version. The GoBoard B2 consists of a skateboard, a remote, a charger and mobile application.

  • Page 10: High Level Device Operation

    But before that, let us discuss the high level operation of GoBoard B2. The skateboard is powered on by pressing the power button on the skateboard. The skateboard should always be powered after putting it on the ground and there should not be any weight on the skateboard. The skateboard can be connected to mobile application at any instant of time once the skateboard has been powered on.

    Long pressing the power button for 6 seconds after releasing the switch during power on will shut down the skateboard in any case i.e. even motors speed is not zero.     The connection led in this case blinks 1 time a second. This switch should not be used in normal case. Shift Switch The shift switch is used in multiple functions.     5-6 times a second, it means the remote is connected to skateboard but the signal strength is poor. In remote pairing mode, the connection LED blinks 1 times a second.     Figure 7 – App Bluetooth Page As the mobile application Roboconn is launched on phone, the application prompts the user to turn on the GPS and Bluetooth. The available Bluetooth devices (only skateboards) are listed and the use can tap to connect with the device.

    If this is not enabled, the wheels will be free while getting on the device. In beginner balance control mode, this tab is automatically switch on.     If the firmware downloading is aborted during the process due to some reason, you need to power off the skateboard and mobile application and try to download again.     The Bluetooth name can be changed by typing in the blank and pressing update. After name change, the skateboard automatically shuts down. You need to power on the skateboard again and reconnect the mobile application.
