    LCD & LED Icon meanings Alarm Icon The alarm icon is lit when the keypad triggers an alarm. The alarms the keypad can trigger are: • Tamper alarm—when the keypad internal tamper is triggered • Invalid code alarm—wrong code entered 9x, the keypad will lock out all functions for 10 min and sound the keypad internal alarm for 30 seconds.

    Enrolling users—Example The procedure to be followed for user control depends on the user function. Here is an example below; 2x UM-305E keypads are to be used for 2 home users and 1 house sitter. The 2 home users will use codes and RFID credentials on both UM-305E keypads and the RFID reader on the alarm panel.

The house sitter was not given the programmed code, but was given the RFID credential to one keypad, so they can only use it with that keypad.

    Key notes Default user codes can be added at time of install to associate the users with the alarm panel. This allows user code changes without the need to learn the users back into the alarm panel. Changing an RFID Credential or user code on the keypad will not re- move the user from the associated alarm panel.
