FEATURES

 The Gen X- 4 unisex Leg Chap uses a lightweight and wind blocking fabric for maximum comfort and a form fitted feel.

Extremely thin elements that you won't even feel them. Elements made in USA.
 It's very easy to use these with our Velcro on/off strap system. Helps removing them quickly when taking a short break

Wear it over a thermal and under your riding gear for maximum warmth. Designed to fit comfortably under regular riding pants
 Bottom of Leg chap has inbuilt coax plugs to connect your foot warmers or Socks.

Heated zones cover full front and side of the leg along with lower stomach.
 Integrated sock/foot warmer plug come stowed in it's own zippered pockets when not in use. Includes a Y splitter, which helps to
run foot warmers along with the leg chap through a single switch or single controller (not included). But an option to connect them
separately with dual switch or dual controller is still available.

Y splitter connection from the leg chaps allows vest, jacket or glove connection in series.
 Get multipurpose use of our heated clothing by using our portable battery packs (NOT INCLUDED). Keeps you warm when you are
a spectator at a game, on a hunt, enjoying a walk on a cold winter day or indulging in active sports like skiing or snowboarding.
Last but not the least it goes a step forward when you want to use it to fix a medical condition and need the extra warmth.

The leg Chaps work with a 12V battery providing 46 Watts of heat and draw 3.4 amps of current.
 Available sizes (Based on inseam): 27, 29, 31, 33.
SIZING:
Measure from inseam to anklebone. The Gen X- 4 leg Chaps should be a little shorter than your pant size (avoiding to make extra fabric
bulk over your shoe).
Note: Make sure you always wear the Leg chaps over a thermal garment or pants. Use of temperature controller is highly recommended

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

It's simple to get your Gen X-4 heated leg chap started Connect the GEARS battery cord wire(not included) which has the
fuse in it to the positive(+) side of the battery and the remaining wire to the negative(-) side of the battery. Use the plastic tie provided to
attach the wires to the frame or other solid member close to front left side bottom of the seat.
IMPORTANT
If installing two battery cords connect them in parallel. So both wires with the fuse are connected to +ve side of the battery and other two are connected to -ve side of the battery.
CAUTION
Ensure that the wires from the leg chap can reach the battery without being stretched or strained .Installation should be such that the wires do not get brushed when the seat is closed.
Make sure it is not in contact with any other part either. Make sure the connectors do not scratch your gas tank or any other part of the vehicle. Do not route your battery cord next to
power leads to avoid any sort of interference with your radio or intercoms.

WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

Wear the leg chap (By adjusting the leg Velcro closures and waist strap). The waist of the leg chap is stitched with a V shape cable having two COAX connectors , The connector facing
upwards is to be connected to your Gen X- 4 heated vest / jacket stitched COAX connector (If used along with the vest / jacket else leave the upward facing connector unconnected) and
the other connector facing downwards will get connected to the switch cord or PRO TECH thermostat ( not included ). Finally connect the other end of switch cord / Thermostat
cable to the Battery cord COAX connector. Now after turning on your vehicle, switch on the leg chap.
CAUTION
Do not switch on the heated clothing if your vehicle engine is turned off. This may result in drainage of battery.
Do not leave any adapter cord plugged into the system when not in use.
Do not leave heated clothing plugged in and /or left on while not wearing them, fire may result.
Always disconnect at the battery cord when leaving the vehicle and cover the COAX connector of the battery cord with the safety cover.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

The Gen X- 4 heated leg chap should be worn over a thermal garment (Not touching the skin directly) and for
best results under a windproof Garment to minimize the chill effect.
CAUTION
Do not use the Gen X- 4 heated leg chap on an infant. Do not forget to disconnect your leg chap, when leaving your vehicle.
If you leave the battery cord unused when attached to your vehicle make sure to put the safety cap over the connector to
avoid scratching, damaging the connectors or body of the vehicle.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
The leg chap is an electric device even though it is worn as a garment .Care should be taken in the storage and transportation of
the leg chap when not being worn. With GOOD CARE the leg chap can last you many years. Never clip or sew any logo on
the leg chap as you run into the risk of damaging a wire.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
If washing does become necessary, hand wash and lay flat to dry. Careful washing is recommended as you may run into
the risk of breaking a wire.
PROBLEM SOLVING
If Leg chap does not heat:
1. Check the fuse in the battery cord (not included) and replace if required.
2. Check for loose connections(Battery cord terminals and all connectors).
3. If the leg chaps do not heat even after you changed the fuse, contact your
local dealer with original receipt and ask for a return or exchange.
4. DO NOT attempt repair of the leg chap on your own.
5. Modifying or tampering with their heating element can result in damage when used and will void the warranty.
WARNING:
Use next lowest rated fuse for the heated clothing combination selected depending on the current drawn by those heated gear.

Fuse required =10 amps
If your harness came with a fuse installed you will need to take note what rating it is. Review the chart and replace the installed fuse with the current rating for your clothing combination.
When you add or change the combination of items, check the fuse requirement and change as needed.

WARRANTY :

All warranties are for defective materials and workmanship only for a period of one year. Original receipt is required when your submit a claim to your dealer. This warranty shall be void if
the product failure is due to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper installation or any kind of tampering. Normal wear and tear attributed to regular use is not a warrantable defect.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The GenX- 4 line of heating clothing is not compatible with the Gen X- 2 line of heated clothing. Any attempt to do so with ruin the Heated clothing and VOID your warranty
immediately!!!
