Operation Instruction for 4 way manifold
4.1 Connect blue hose to the low side of system, connect red hose to the high side
of system. Connect black hose from vacuum valve(8) on manifold to 3/8" port on
vacuum pump. Connect yellow hose to refrigerant cylinder.
4.2 Open all valves on manifold.
4.3 Turn on the vacuum pump.
4.4 Close all valves (6,7,8+9) when correct vacuum is reached.
4.5 Please note evacuation times vary due to system size.
5.1 Keep valves closed, remove the black 3/8 hose from the vacuum pump and
manifold and open valve 9.
5.2 Open valve on the refrigerant container.
5.3 Open valve 7, the system is now being charged with refrigerant. Check the correct
quantity of refrigerant with a charging scale(such as a NAVTEK wireless scale),
and observe the pressure on the gauge. If the refrigerant flow is too slow or
insufficient the system compressor can be turned on to speed up the process.
5.4 If the correct charging quantity has been reached, close valve 9 immediately.
5.5 Close refrigerant cylinder valve
5.6 Open valve 6 and check pressure & temperature of system.
5.7 If pressure is OK, close all valves on manifold.
5.8 Remove all hose and open all valves on manifold, making sure not to vent
refrigerant to atmosphere.
1.3 For maintenance and repair of the manifold, contact authorized NAVTEK
distributors. Product warranty would be void if it is disassembled by unauthorized
