- Page 4 Preparing the area and base for the well Locate the septic cover you wish to conceal. If the ground surrounding the septic cover is not level, you must level it out. Shovel the dirt away so that there is approximately 4 inches around the lid that is level.

- Page 8 Attaching the Roof With the wishing well base secured to the septic cover, you can proceed to assemble the rest of the wishing well. 1. Locate the pockets on the inside of the well base. Stand one upright post (included) into a pocket so that the nut inserts in the post line up with the holes on the side of the pockets.
