    .4 FITTING THE BATTERIES The unit is designed to operate from both non-rechargeable alkaline batteries and rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) or Nickel Cadmium (NiCD) batteries: WARNING: Never mix batteries of different types, and never use recharged alkaline batteries as these are prone to leaking and overcharging and will cause permanent unit damage.

    .1 RESULT THRESHOLDS The Program ( 0 to 250), defines a pair of upper ( ) and PROG lower ( ) thresholds for the measurement result, and Program 0 is preset at the factory to thresholds of 1500 and 3500. When a measurement reading is displayed, it is compared against these thresholds to determine the overall risk level: “Low Risk”...
