    09/ 2018 Technical Description The sweeper MCK is designed as an exchangeable unit for Multicar chasses and is partly constructed out of stainless steel (hopper, water tank). The sweeper may be used for cleaning roads, car parks, large public and industrial areas, etc. All the important working functions are controlled by the driver in the cab.

    Gebrüder TRILETY Ges.m.b.H. MCK-M31 1.02 09/ 2018 Base Framework The entire sweeper unit is construction onto a robust base framework fabricated out of rectangular tubes. The base framework can be mounted onto the ball joints of the vehicle chassis. Extra holding tubes are fitted into the base framework, to strengthen the construction and to allow that support legs can be inserted.

The suction fan unit is fitted with high-performance suction fan blade which has been designed to obtain an optional suction efficiency for the sweepings.

The swept width can be increased by actuating the front brush* (optional equipment). The front brush also facilitates the sweeping of road bays and between parked cars.

    • Water pipes for front brush MOUNTING AND DEMOUNTING THE SWEEPER The exchangeable sweeper MCK is designed as a quick-swap body for Multicar chasses and can be easily and quickly mounted onto a Multicar chassis that has been pre-fitted with the appropriate equipment with a few easy steps: To ensure easy connection, the supply lines and cables (hydraulics, electrics, water) are fitted with quick release couplings.

MCK-M31 1.02 09/ 2018 Wind up the 4 sweeper unit support legs, so that the sweeper unit is in a position that ensures that the vehicle can be driven underneath without touching the sweeper unit. Drive the vehicle underneath the sweeper unit and position the vehicle so that the ball joints are underneath the ball joint receptacles.

The disk brushes should only lightly touch kerbstones while the surface is being swept (otherwise heavy wear of the brushes and risk of damage to the brush suspension system).

Immediately stop sweeping and switch the water pump off. Sweeping without water raises excessive dust, which can cause the suction nozzle to clog and increases the wear of the suction fan.

If this opening is not shut off, the suction efficiency while sweeping is greatly diminished.

MCK-M31 1.02 09/ 2018 2.4.11 Using the High Pressure Water Unit  The operation of the high pressure wash system should be only performed by trained personnel.  The high pressure spray pistol should not be aimed at persons or any parts that are carrying electrical current.

(see Multicar manual) • Increase the engine speed up to approx. 1500 rpm. • Start the high pressure water pump by pressing the appropriate switch which normally starts the suction fan.

Caution: Do not directly spray any control motors and solenoid valves with high pressure sprays, these parts may be damaged through water penetration.

MCK-M31 1.02 09/ 2018 SPRAY WATER SYSTEM 3.3.1 Working in Freezing Temperatures Prior to parking the vehicle outside in freezing temperatures, the water system must be completely emptied: 1. Open the drain cock on the underside of the water tank at the left side of the sweeper unit and completely drain the water out of the water tank.

If necessary, e.g. if the water is very dirty, the filter may have to be checked daily: 1. Close the water inlet into the filter by turning and then removing the orange screw on the water filter.

It is necessary that the sweeping and suction unit is checked every time before starting the sweeping procedure.

MCK-M31 1.02 09/ 2018 • The load pressure of the front brush*( Only for extendable brush) can be regulated by adjusting the stop screw (screwing out = lower load pressure, screwing in = higher load pressure); the maximum load pressure is given by the dead weight of the brush and suspension.
