  • Page 3 The Buttons On/Off Volume Switch There is an On/Off Volume switch and three buttons that will allow you to operate the reader and access the information on your prescription labels.
  • Page 4 About the Electronic Label The talking label may be found: your bottle or container your bottle or box Due to packaging or medicine content, your label may be attached as an annex tag. To access the electronic label, lift it away from the package when scanning.

    Powering the Unit Connect the USB cable adapter to the port on the left side of the reader. Then plug the adapter into a power source. You can also use 4 AA alkaline batteries to power your unit. The battery access door is on the back of the unit.

    Power and Volume Control Turn the thumbwheel switch clockwise to power on the unit. To adjust the volume, turn the thumbwheel. To shut off the unit, turn the thumbwheel counter-clockwise until you hear a click.

    On-Board Help To listen to the instructions on how to use the unit, press and hold READ for about three seconds. To stop the instructions, press READ again. Three Seconds Press Next or Previous to move through the different topics.
