- Page 2 Installation of King Mounting King units have four eyehooks on the top most flange. The units can be suspended from the ceiling using steel chains or cables, see below. Fig.1 Anchor points should be at sufficient distance top counteract initial torque movement.
- Page 3 Supports should be capable of supporting ten times the weight of the King unit distributed over the four points of attachment. The helicentrifugal rotor is balanced electronically to guarantee perfect rotation during operation. It is advisable that the units are installed in a perfect horizontal plane.
- Page 4 King air mixers can rotate in different directions. A green or red arrow on the unit and packaging indicates the direction of rotation (Green – clockwise, Red – anticlockwise). In the case of multiple unit installations, the rotational direction of the first unit is immaterial provided that the subsequent units rotate in the opposite direction (see Fig.4).
- Page 5 All motors have sealed for life bearings and do not require attention. Wiring Details The motors supplied on the King units are capable of being wired for single and three phase with small modifications. Normally, however they will be supplied to specification as either single or three phase.
