    PalatiumCare UL2560 Comark PC is optional. PalatiumCare Enterprise Server The PalatiumCare Enterprise Server is the brains of the system which manages the network coordinator and paging transmitter. The server is also responsible for running reports, managing facility settings, managing locations, managing residents, and managing devices.

    2018 Mounting the Required Hardware Mounting the PalatiumCare Enterprise Server 1. Secure the Enterprise Server with a screw on each side as shown below. Do not tighten the screws too tight. Tighten just enough so the server is snug to the System Mounting Board or to the wall.

    In order to be compliant with the UL2560 Certification the Network Coordinator needs to be wired to the PalatiumCare Server using standard terminal blocks. The wire that connects the server to the Network Coordinator has 4 separate conductors inside. They are colored Red, Black, White, and Green.

    2. The System Mounting Board already has the pre-exiting thread holes for use. Follow the pre-existing holes to mount the PalatiumCare System onto the wall with two wall dog zinc pan head 1-1/4” on the top, and two on the bottom to secure the PalatiumCare System board.

Note: When installing the PalatiumCare UL2560 Comark PC as part of the PalatiumCare System then the Paging Transmitter will no longer be required as part of the system installation.

    Software Installation Overview To this point, all the hardware installation should be completed. The PalatiumCare System should be powered on and ready for software installation. A laptop/ Desktop Computer is required for downloading and configuring the necessary applications when all the system hardware is in place.

    4. Click on the Restart PalatiumCare Server Button. 5. Wait 15 Seconds for the Server to restart. 6. If PalatiumCare system is inaccessible through network connection, and as a last resort, disconnecting power directly from server for 10 seconds might be required.

    Facility Information that is kept in the system about the Facility is the Facility's name, address, phone number, fax number, web site, and time zone. Facility Settings used by PalatiumCare are the facility's maintenance e-mail address, discovery time for location devices, and discovery time for personal devices.

    Wireless Repeaters are used to increase the distance between Location Devices or Resident Devices and the Wireless Receiver. Wireless Repeaters need to be registered with the PalatiumCare Server, just like any Location or Resident devices, so the system knows to monitor the Wireless Repeater for loss of communication.

    Advanced locating is used to triangulate Resident Devices using repeater soft points to enable the PalatiumCare System to give an accurate location of any Resident Device. By setting up repeaters in a staggered fashion and creating soft points throughout a building, residents can activate a pendant and give the staff a fairly specific location as to where the resident is.
