MINI SPLIT STUCK IN COOLING MODE.DOES NOT CHANGE USING REMOTE

The CONFORTotal mini split model 7K may be stuck in cooling mode and not responding to the remote due to one or more of the following reasons based on the manual:

1. Fan speed control limitations: In some modes like SWEEP or dehumidifying operation, temperature and fan speed settings cannot be adjusted, and the remote may seem unresponsive.

2. Heating overload prevention: If the unit is in HEAT mode and enters overload prevention, fan speed control is disabled, which may cause the unit to behave as if stuck in cooling.

3. Remote issues: If the clock or timer settings are not set correctly, certain remote functions may not work as expected.

4. Power or connection issues: If the unit is not properly grounded, or if there is damage to the power cord or plug, the unit may not respond correctly.

Check the mode settings, ensure proper electrical connection, inspect the remote control for correct settings, and verify that the unit is not in a restricted operation mode.

My A/C's are set at (max) 32C (89.6F), but the room temp will not get above 76F. Leaving (FL) for the summer, and want to keep my house temps around 83F. All 3 do the same thing! How can I get my AC's from cooling so much?

To maintain a room temperature around 83°F (about 28°C) instead of cooling to 76°F (about 24°C), use the temperature adjustment buttons on the remote control. Press the “▲” button to increase the temperature setting up to your desired level. The air conditioner allows temperature settings between 16°C and 32°C (about 61°F to 90°F). Set it to 28°C to maintain around 83°F.
