Depending on the quality of the source components used, some components may send out low levels of noise even when powered off, in this case the FIVE17 system will remain powered on as an active signal is being detected. Due to this, we recommend test- ing the auto power on/off feature with your components to ensure it is working as intended.
Source Selection Your FIVE17 loudspeaker system automatically scans for active audio signals, and locks on to the correct input when a signal is detected. When no signal is detected on the active input for 15 seconds the system is muted, and will scan for a signal from the other sources.
SYSTEM FEATURES System Presets Heavenly Soundworks loudspeakers are precisely tuned for the discerning audiophile listener. We have incorporated three distinctive tunes, each meticulously designed for a specific volume range (at your listening position). These presets can be selected using the included remote control.
SYSTEM FEATURES LED Indicators and Button On the back of each FIVE17 Loudspeaker is a series of LED Indicators and a selection button. The top (Red) LED indicates the following; Random Blinking = Amplifiers hitting pre- programmed limits to protect drivers...
Remote Control The provided remote control offers the following functions; Power Volume Up Volume Down Move Left Move Right Mute Function 1 Function 2 Function 3 Function 4 Select *Not all remote commands may be needed/used *The Left and Right Arrows (buttons 4 and 5 above) can be used to manually switch between input options, however it is recommended to keep the system in “Auto-Detect”...
Analogue and Digital. In order to accommodate the widest range of potential input options, the setup is as follows. Each set of FIVE17 Loudspeakers is designed to be used in a “Primary” and “Secondary” configuration, where the “Primary” detects audio signal and receives commands from the remote control, then sends that information to the “Secondary”.
*If it is preferred to utilize your source for volume control, it is advised that only the analogue inputs be used, as the internal volume control of the FIVE17 system will need to be turned up to a “reference” level. If the digital signal were to then become active, the resulting sound output would be at a very high volume until turned down by the remote control.

CARE / MAINTENANCE Care: As mentioned in the “System Features” section of this manual, this loudspeaker system is equipped with Thermal Protection features. However, to prevent overheating, never cover the ventilation holes on the backplate of the speaker, and never place the speaker near a heat source. In order to maintain the beautiful finish of the wooden cabinet, avoid placing these loudspeakers in direct sunlight as prolonged exposure can fade the wood finish.

Caution: Prolonged loud sounds will cause permanent hearing loss! Here at Heavenly Soundworks our motto is “Sound Made Beautifully”. But what’s the use of having beautiful sound if you can’t hear it. We want you to be a happy customer from now until eternity, so we’re sending along this guideline with each of our loudspeaker systems.

You can listen to sounds at 70 dBA, or lower, for as long as you want. Sounds at 85 dBA can lead to hearing loss if you listen to them for more than 8 hours at a time. Sounds over 85 dBA can damage your hearing faster. The safe listening time is cut in half for every 3dB rise in noise levels over 85 dBA.
