POST PULLER MANUAL

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equip-
ment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat or hearing protection
used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
Warning: To reduce the risk of injury, read the instruction manual.
Warning: This tool is not designed for lifting or jacking. Using it in this manner
could cause injury or death.
Caution: Be careful of pinch points between the handle and the base shaft when
handling, carrying, and using the post puller.
Caution: The post puller is not stable when standing upright unless it is attached to
a post. Do not store in the upright position.
Caution: Be aware of all power lines, electrical circuits, water pipes and other
mechanical hazards in your work area, particularly those hazards below the work
surface hidden from the operator's view that may be unintentionally contacted and
may cause personal harm or property damage.

Operation

1) Set the post puller upright with the lever arm approximately waist high.
Note: The ground should be firm and flat. If not, it is recommended to use a scrap
piece of plywood underneath the post puller to provide stability.
2) Position the jaw around one of the T-post studs.
3) Push the lever arm down to loosen the post.
4) Move the lever arm back to waist height and fit the jaw around a T-post stud.
5) Push down on the lever arm. The post should come out of the ground. If
it does not, repeat step 4.
Note: The hook can be used with a ¼" heavy duty steel chain to remove wooden
and other non T-type posts. The post puller cannot remove a post anchored in
concrete.

Maintenance

1) Periodically check all hardware to make sure it is secure.
2) Lubricate the area between the lever arm and the jaw with a light penetrating
oil as needed.
