Hot & Cold Portable Electric Cool Box
EN
Thank you for your purchase of the Auto Companion Hot
& Cold Portable Electric Cool Box. This cool box offers
comfort and functionality at the same time, due to its handy
size and 24 litre capacity. It offers space for many kinds of
food and drink.
It is able to keep both cold food cool, or hot food warm so
is useful in a variety of places and occasions. It is suitable
for your home, university, office, car, truck or van. It can be
taken on holiday, to a hotel, mobile home, coach, caravan,
campsite or boat. It is ideal for use in the car on days out,
for picnics, fishing, or long journeys.
To achieve optimized cooling, we suggest putting in
pre-chilled foods and drinks as this aides the cooling
process. The cooler and warmer is not designed to heat
cold food up, but to keep already hot foods at a warm
temperature. If used properly, following the directions it can
keep the temperature of foods for hours.
1. First make sure the switch at the side of the cooler and
warmer is in the OFF position. Then plug the power cord
into the unit using the connector.
2. Next plug in the cigarette lighter adaptor into the
cigarette lighter in the car.
AC = Mains Power
3. Cooling: Set the power switch to the COLD position. The
green light will be on, indicating the unit is in cooling mode.
4. Warming: Set the power switch to the HOT position. The
red light will be on indicating the unit is in warming mode.
Please see the diagram of the back of the unit to familiarise
yourself with the connectors and switches. If you would like
increased energy efficiency and a limited cooling capacity,
use the cooler's ECO mode.
WHEN CAR POWER IS USED (DC 12V)
1. Turn on the car engine/electrics.
2. Insert the DC power cord connector into the back of the
cooler unit.
3. Plug in the cigarette lighter adaptor of the DC cord into
the cigarette lighter socket in the car.
4.Adjust the control switch to choose cold or hot mode.
Please note that when using DC power in the car, the eco
and max switch is not useable, and makes no difference to
the temperature of the box. Eco and Max can only be used
when connected to household power or mains electricity.
WHEN MAINS ELECTRICITY IS USED (AC 220V-240V)
1. Connect the AC power cord into the AC socket on the
back of the unit.
