[1] When it is time to have a calibration done, where would I send it? I am concerned about mailing it because fedex, ups and usps are no longer very trustworthy. I am in the houston area. Is there anywhere near that I could drop it off? [2] is there any reason to not treat an area daily? I cannot find this addressed anywhere.

Pain affected sites, muscles and/or joints, have to be exposed to an adequate level of therapeutic energy for effective therapeutic effects. The LZ30 may be applied directly to the skin. Most patients will feel a very mild warmth. In rare cases of discomfort, increase the distance between the device and the skin and/or reduce the power.

The LZ30 will become warm during operation. The temperature is carefully monitored and if the LZ30 exceeds its safe operating temperature, it will automatically switch off the lasers in order to cool down. The amount of time that it takes to reach the maximum temperature and how long it takes to cool down depend upon ambient temperature and how the laser is being used.
  • Page 23 LZ30 User Manual Section 7: CONTINUOUS USE AND OVERHEATING The red lasers are more sensitive to elevated temperatures than the infrared lasers. Therefore, when using a preset that uses the red lasers immediately after using the infrared lasers, the device might need to cool down further. Typically this takes less than a minute.
