However, behavior of Apple models not listed as supported may differ, especially in older models. We recommend against using any model older than those listed above.
- Page 6 C O N N E C T I O N S How do I connect the AlgoRhythm Solo -R® to Apple Products? Make sure to align the connection on the bottom of the iPod with the multi-pin metal connector located on the included synch to USB cable. Do not force the iPod connection or you may damage the multi-pin connector and damage your device.
- Page 7 How do I connect to Apple Products? Stack your AlgoRhythm Solo -R® on the headphone amplifier, with the included pad separating them, then add your Apple device on the AlgoRhythm Solo -R. Add the straps to bundle your devices. Add cables to complete the set up. Turn on the Apple device, the amp and finally the AlgoRhythm Solo -R.

When you dock your iPod, the AlgoRhythm Solo -R® first initiates a handshake with the iPod and the iPod verifies communication with the AlgoRhythm Solo -R. Once the handshake has taken place, the AlgoRhythm Solo -R has access to the audio stored on your Apple device and will stay synced until it is undocked.
