Kit 300-C Series Installation Instructions
for Wood Posts with Composite Sleeves
with an Outside Diameter Greater than 4-1/2"
Tools Required for Installation
• 5/32" Drill Bit
• 7/32" Drill Bit
• 5/32" Allen Wrench
• 1/4" Wrench
A: Drill Posts
Hole sizes through intermediate posts and/or cable braces are:
5/32" for 1/8" cable
7/32" for 3/16" cable
For Tensioning Terminal end posts:
Drill 7/32" hole 1-1/2" deep into the face of the end posts.
For Swageless Terminal end posts:
Drill 7/32" hole to a depth of at least 1½" or enough to allow the fitting to sit flush to the sleeve.
