 Under abusive conditions, liquid may leak out of the battery. Avoid any contact. If a
contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If the liquid contacts eyes, seek for
medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause skin irritations or burns
 By improper use, vapours can escape out of a damaged battery pack. Provide for fresh
air and seek medical attention in case of complaints. The vapours can irritate the
respiratory system
 Charge the battery with original Bosch chargers. When using non-original Bosch
chargers, the risk of a fire cannot be excluded
 Use the battery only together with an original Bosch eBike drive. This is the way to
protect the battery against dangerous overload operations
 Use only original Bosch batteries approved for your eBike by the manufacturer. Using
other battery packs can lead to injuries and eventually pose a fire hazard. When using
other battery packs, Bosch will not assume liability or warranty

Check the battery before you use your Hybrid bike for the first time. Press the button (22) to
turn the battery on. If no LED lights on the charge level indicator (21), then the battery is empty
or corrupted.
If at least one, but not all LED's on the battery indicator (21) are lit, try to recharge the battery
first, before you make a ride. A fully loaded and functional battery will have all 5 LED's lit
permanently
Note: If the battery cannot be charged any longer or appears to be damaged, please contact
your ave. dealer or an authorized Bosch eBike Service

Safety advices
 Place down the battery only on clean surfaces. In particular, avoid soiling the charge
socket and the contacts e. g. by means of sand or ground
