- Page 3 If the display does not turn on, the battery may be low. (Please follow the ‘Battery Replacement’ instructions on how to change your battery). Wait for 1 minute and for the temperature displayed to be stable between the safe range (see p1 for more details). The thermometer will automatically turn itself off and enter power-saving mode if it is not used for 1 hour and the LCD screen will be blank.
