plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
Warning: Improper grounding can result in a risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if
the grounding instructions are not completely understood or if doubt about whether the appliance
is properly grounded exists. Do not use an extension cord. If the power supply cord is too short,
have a qualified electrician install an outlet near the appliance.
Caution: To reduce risk of fire and to properly exhaust air, be sure to duct air outside.
Do not vent exhaust air into spaces within walls or ceilings or into attics, crawl spaces, or garages.

Install The Hood

Before beginning the installation, we advise you to remove
the aluminum filter at the bottom, to better handle the hood.
Before attaching it, the outlet exhaust duct for air evacuation
to the outside must be installed. Use an outlet exhaust duct with:
• Minimum possible bends (maximum angle of bend: 90°);
• Certified material (according to local, building and fire
regulations);
• As smooth as possible inside.
It is also advisable to avoid any drastic changes in duct
cross-section (recommended diameter: 6/₈")
Drill the hole in the wall for the air outlet (6/₂" diameter)
referring to picture here on the right where the various
possible measurements are indicated.
Decide on the position of the hole for the air outlet: the hole
could be anywhere in the ceiling according to your requirements, but must be in vertical line with
your hood. Bear in mind that the hood can only expel air through the top air outlet.
