7.1. General Maintenance Rules Please keep in mind that the MicrUs Pro is a sophisticated electronic device. It needs a careful handling. Always keep the device in a safe storage place when not in use. Avoid cases of a fall or a stress of the device. Do not allow excessive bending of the cable.
Before low-level disinfecting procedure clean MicrUs Pro according to the procedure described in Chapter 7.3 Cleaning MicrUs Pro. Observe warnings and cautions. After cleaning, choose a low-level disinfectant that is compatible with MicrUs Pro. For a list of compatible disinfectants, see Chapter 7.6 List of Compatible Disinfectants.
Follow the label instructions for preparation, temperature, solution strength, and duration of contact. Do not use expired disinfection solutions as their effectiveness is not guaranteed. When disinfecting in a solution do not immerse MicrUs Pro more than shown on a picture below. System Information tool will collect information about your system which you can save as a text file and provide to TELEMED support. To get the device serial number go to the end of a text file and search for the label “Probe Serial Number”. The value of this label is your device’s serial number.
12.4. Service Contract A service contract may be obtained for the TELEMED after the original warranty or guarantee period has expired. The contract provides for any service calls that may be necessary to keep the system operational and will include at least one regularly scheduled service visit per year.
