BEFORE YOU BEGIN

1) Read through the entire step before performing each step. Familiarize
yourself with the instructions.
2) Using the checklist and image on the insert familiarize yourself with all
of the parts in the box.
3) Use a damp rag to remove any glue squeeze out before it dries.
4) Glue beads should be about the thickness of a raw grain of rice about
1/16th inch. Slightly thicker on mitered connections.
5) Wipe all panels with a dry rag before attaching any tape.
6) Use a sticky masking tape. Sherwin Williams® CP 66 brand has been
tested and works well though you can get sticky masking tape at most
home stores, paint stores and hardware stores.
7) If you plan to use your birdhouse as a actual birdhouse then you will
want to seal all gaps and properly protect the house from the
elements. I recommend exterior spar urethane or spar varnish over
any painting you do. Check our Youtube site for tutorials on painting.
8) Always wear approved N95 dust mask whenever you do any sanding.
100% American made and sourced product
including locally harvested bass wood.
