    1. Equipment required • Notebook or laptop with updated browser (Firefox , Chrome) • 66 mm mount If you already have a mount, make sure it can support the weight of the new kit too. Position the mount facing south. Ensure there are no obstacles in the line of sight.
  • Page 5 1. Equipment The Tooway Kit comprises: TRIA TRIA MOUNT Bracket Ground cable Fixing Plus the modem, power supply, devices dish and network cable .
  • Page 6 2. Identifying geographical position for pointing To identify the spot configuration, go to http://finder.tooway-instal.com click on Coordinates.

    3. Assembly kit You need the following tools: • Socket wrench set (8mm and 13mm) • Phillips screwdriver • Spanner of 8mm and 13mm Follow the instructions supplied with the kit for assembly.

  • Page 14 4. Preparation for pointing • Stay on the same page and proceed to Pointing. Make sure you don’t change the page during the pointing phase. When pointing is complete, a NEXT button will appear.
  • Page 15 5. Pointing (phase I) Set up the elevation acquired on page 7, using the back of the support as a reference, indicated by the red mark in the picture opposite. In the example the elevation is set at approximately 38 degrees Position your hands at 3 and 9 o'clock on the disc and turn it either right or left using the bracket as a pivot.

  • Page 17 5. Pointing (phase 2) In the second pointing phase (fine pointing), you must adjust the geographical azimuth and elevation using only a spanner. As you approach the maximum satellite signal, you will hear the tone more and more frequently. It is important to pass through the maximum signal several times in order to locate the best possible pointing position.

  • Page 20 5. Pointing (phase 2) The symbol for operation successfully completed will appear in the same browser window (see page 12). Current Rx must be higher than 10db. Peak Rx must differ from Current Rx by a max of 0.4db. IMPORTANT: depending on the oscillation of the power signal, the green light may switch on and off. In any case, when 10 db is reached, proceed with the activation by clicking on the right arrow.
  • Page 21 5. Activation After clicking NEXT, it is possible to check the status of synchronizing the modem. If the pointing is completed, the 4 lights will turn green and then within the next 10 minutes, the Tooway status will become online.
