STEP Tank Setup Apply Teflon tape onto the threads of the tank nipple. Screw the connector onto the tank making sure to avoid cross threading. The connector only needs to be hand tight (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN) and should thread on easily.
STEP System Hook Up Cut the tubing in 4 pieces to make 4 connections. Make a straight clean cut (recommended to use a cutter) Locate the red plastic nut and connect to the water supply, The side to the red plastic nut is a Quick- Connect see page11, the other side AFW is not a Quick-Connect its a compression fitting.

STEP Starting Up the System Turn off the storage tank ball valve, this will ensure no water can enter the tank. Slowly turn on the cold water supply valve to the sink. If you have not already done so, open the valve of the cold-water self-piercing valve (turn counter clockwise to open).
Page 14
Now open the ball valve on the reverse osmosis storage tank, which will allow the tank to fill. This will take approximately 4-10 hours. During this period of time check all fittings for any leaks. If any leaks are found turn off cold- water line and make the necessary correction.
