FERRY-MORSE KLIGHT Instructions

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE FERRY-MORSE GROW LIGHT

1) This grow light is for household/indoor use only.
2) Remove light strip and its components from its packaging.
(See Fig. 1)
3) Place the plastic caps onto the fixture. Please disregard
this step if the plastic caps are pre-placed (see Figs. 2 & 2a).
4) Take note that the T5 bulb in the reflector is already
attached to the strip. Remove the Styrofoam inserts from the
bulb before using.
5) Insert the stands into the plates individually. Take note
that the side with gap lines should be downward (see Fig. 3).
6) Insert the other side of stands into the holes on the two
mounted plastic caps (see Fig. 4).
7) Insert the power cord into the light system. Ensure that
you plug into the male side (with prongs) of the light bar. The
system is now ready to use (See Fig. 5).
8) Position Grow Light over seedlings. Seedlings usually
prefer 16 hours of light per day. Using a timer will help
automate your light schedule. The direction of the light can
be adjusted according to your needs.
WARNING:
• Electric shock or fire may result if used improperly.
• Not recommended for use by children 12 years and under.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
• Never use in combination with heat mat or in direct
sunlight. This will overheat and dry out your seedlings
tender roots.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• DO NOT immerse grow light in water.
• DO NOT wrap or cover with insulated material(s).
• DO NOT use outdoors.
