Do not use damaged cables. Keep the cable away from sharp edges. Do not exercise mechanic force on the nozzle. It could become deformed and is not able to perform a correct airflow anymore. Do not use the PlastoFused if you find any anormalies. Do not open the main housing! -

INBETRIEBNAHME / AUFBAU DES GERÄTS Erstinbetriebnahme: Die vier markierten Sicherheitsschrauben auf der Unterseite des Geräts entfernen. Vor der Benutzung: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Spannungs- und Frequenzangaben auf dem Geräteschild (Rück- seite über Stromkabel-Anschluss), dem benutzten Stromnetze entsprechen. Set the power switch on the backside to position “I“. Now set the stand-by switch on the right part of the control-unit to position “I“. The LED inside the power switch lights up. The PlastoFused-Unit starts the air-pump and the heating-process. Set the temperature unit with the button „°C/°F“. -

REPARATUR VON KUNSTSTOFFTEILEN Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur, für die vorgesehenen Prozesse. Mit diesem Gerät können nur Thermoplaste bearbeitet werden. Reinigen Sie das zu reparierende Teil mit dem beiliegenden Schleifer. Wählen Sie je nach Kunststoffart die passenden Schmelz-Strips aus. Setzen Sie den Schmelz-Strip etwa einen Zentimeter vor dem Schaden an. - Page 15 PLASTIC REPAIR Use the PLASTOFUSE only for intended purposes. Use this tool only for thermoplasts. Clean the area with the supplied grinder before. Chose the matching Melting-Strips. Place the Melting-Strip ca. 1 cm before the damage. Heat the Melting-Strip and the damaged body-part, to fuse the plastic components.

LÖCHER REPARIEREN Schleifen Sie das Kunststoffteil beidseitig um das Loch ab, sodass alle Verschmutzungen entfernt werden. 8.1.1 Beginnen Sie auf der unlackierten Innenseite des Teils damit die Schmelz-Strips mit dem beschädigten Kunststoff verschmelzen. Benutzen Sie den beiliegenden Haftroller um das Loch zusätzlich mit dem noch warmen Schmelz-Strip zu füllen. -

REPAIRING HOLES Grind off the material on both sides so that there is no other material in the damaged area. 8.1.1 Start fusing the Melting-Stips with the body-part on the unpainted inner surface. Use the adherence roller to fill the hole with the warm Melting-Strip. - Page 18 RISSE / SCHNITTE REPARIEREN Schleifen Sie das Kunststoffteil um die be- 8.2.2 troffene Stelle beidseitig ab und entfernen Sie Verschmutzungen, da sonst kein fester Halt garantiert werden kann. 8.2.1 EMPFOHLEN: Fixieren Sie den Riss, indem Sie eine Klam- mer mit unserem PLASTOCLIP einschmelzen. Durch die eingeschmolzene Klammer erlangt das gebrochene Kunststoffteil zusätzliche Stabilität aber auch Flexibilität.
- Page 19 REPAIRING CRACKS / SLICES Clean the damaged area around the crack 8.2.2 (inner and outer surface) with the supplied grinder before starting the melting process. A absolute fixation cannot be guaranteed without grinding. 8.2.1 ADVISE: Fix the crack with our PLASTOCLIP. Melt in a W-clamp or S-clamp to increase the plastic part and give it more stability and flexibility.
- Page 20 ABGERISSENE LASCHEN REPARIEREN Schleifen Sie die beiden ausgerissenen Ränder ab. EMPFOHLEN: Schweißen Sie eine Klammern als „Unterkonstruktion“ für die Schmelz-Strips ein, um der Lasche später mehr Flexibilität 8.3.1 und einen noch festeren Halt zu verleihen. Beginnen Sie nun damit, den Schmelz-Strip auf der ersten Seite festzuschmelzen.
- Page 21 REPAIRING DAMAGED TABS Clean both edges with the supplied grinder. ADVISE: For more flexibility and fixation melt in a clip with our PLASTOCLIP. Use it for sub- structure. 8.3.1 Start fusing the Melting-Strips with the damaged plastic part. Ensure an absolute fixation. Wait untill the plastic cooled down and lay down the Melting-Strip like a bridge to the other cleaned edge.
