Manual Test and Reset

For manual test, place reset tool over fault indicator so Fiber Connect Cap (see diagram on back of
instruc�ons) fits through space on face of reset tool. When reset tool rests against face of fault
indicator, magnet in reset tool is in correct posi�on. Once magnet is in correct posi�on, adjust
magne�c field by twis�ng reset tool clockwise and counterclockwise (note that reset tool moves
very li�le due to its proximity to fault indicator). A�er a couple twists, the LED will begin flashing.
For manual reset, place the reset tool in the same posi�on described above and take the same
ac�ons as above. A�er a couple twists, the LED will stop flashing.

Placement of Fault Indicator

ATTENTION: Correct moun�ng of the fault indicator in regards to the concentric neutral and
bleed wire is necessary for the fault indicator to operate properly.

Note 1: For installa�on A and C, Clamping Mechanism should not be in contact with concentric
neutral or bleed wire.
Note 2: For installa�on on live front termina�ons, fault indicator must be installed within the
guidelines set forth in this sec�on - either 1) over the concentric neutral foldback and bleedwire or
2) not over or touching the concentric neutral or the bleedwire.
