INPUT
VOLUME
Front Panel Features (from left to right)
Input - -20db, instrument level input. Plug your guitar in here.
Volume - Level control for amplifier's first gain-stage. This affects both channels.
Higher settings yield a thicker fuller tone in clean or overdrive.
Bright Switch - Emphasizes high frequencies adding extra clarity to the sound.
Has a greater effect with lower settings of the volume control.
Mid Switch - Adds thick midrange emphasis to the tone of the amp. On the
overdrive channel, also increases the gain. When combined with the foot
switchable Preamp Boost and the Overdrive channel, fluid high-gain lead sounds
can be obtained.
Rock/Jazz Switch - Changes the overall voicing of the amplifier's tone-stack.
Rock is higher gain/volume with more low mids. Jazz is more mid-scooped and
quieter.
Treble - Adjusts the high end frequency content of the amplifier. Higher settings
give the amp more "bite".
Middle - Adjusts the midrange frequency content of the amplifier. Higher settings
will allow the amplifier to "cut through the mix" better and sound more "up front".
Bass - Adjusts the low end frequency content of the amplifier. Higher settings will
also add more gain and "bloom" when in overdrive.
Drive - Gain control for the amplifier's overdrive channel. Lower settings yield
bluesy, just-breaking-up sounds. Higher settings add smooth harmonic crunch.
Volume - Level control for the amplifier's overdrive channel. Use this control to
balance the volumes of the clean and overdrive channels.
Master - Overall volume level of the amplifier.
Presence - Adjusts the amplifier's extreme high-frequency content. Adds a
variable amount of clarity and "slice" to the sound.
Reverb - Adjusts the mix of Reverberated sound with the amplifier tone. The
reverb is positioned after the FX Loop in the signal chain. The Reverb circuit can
be bypassed by the Reverb foot-switch or the switch on the back of the amp.
