    OPERATING & MAINTENANCE MANUAL MODEL : EHA series 3. INSTALLATION 3.1 INTRODUCTION The Light product is supplied after assembled and tested to meet with usages in the plant. The Light product is supplied under KS, IEC, ICAO, FAA regulation requirement and Light capacity, color and intensity can be decided with user to meet with airfield site condition.

A simple approach lighting system shall consist of a row of lights on the extended centre line of the runway extending, wherever possible, over a distance of not less than 420m from the threshold with a row of lights forming a crossbar 18m or 30m in length at a distance of 300m from the threshold.
  • Page 22 OPERATING & MAINTENANCE MANUAL MODEL : EHA series one at 300m form the threshold, where the serviceability level of the approach lights specified as maintenance objectives can be demonstrated, the system may have tow side rows of lights, extending 240m from the threshold, and two crossbars, one at 150m and one at 300m from the threshold.

When a threshold is at the extremity of a runway, the threshold lights shall be placed in a row at right angles to the runway axis as near to the extremity of the runway as possible and, in any case, not more than 3 m outside the extremity.

The installation method is followed as below procedure and must be installed in the Deep base or Elbow. -. The base (box) installation method is followed by FAA AC 150/5340-26. However, user request special installation method under their country regulation, it will be discussed to decide installation method.
