Product General Information 3.1 Product Description D-light-HP200 fiber coupled diode laser is a complete, turn-key system suitable for material processing, medical therapeutics and pumping solid-state laser media. The system consists of a single enclosure which integrates the laser heads, water coolers and all necessary drive and control electronics.

  • Page 15 15 D-Light-HP-200 operation manual The D-Light is operated from a host computer, which need to be connected by a standard USB A-A and a USB B-A cable. Both connectors are on the rear of the unit. • Interlock The D-Light interlock is in the rear of the unit as shown in part 4.1. The interlock is a small two-pin connector and must be shorted to allow laser current to flow.

    16 D-Light-HP-200 operation manual • Turn on/off Modules The module buttons are disabled when the software is initiated. Users can turn on Module 1 and Module 2 independently or turn on both of them. Each module group provides more than 100W output.
  • Page 17 17 D-Light-HP-200 operation manual • Turn one the key on the front panel The key has to be in horizontal position to enable the laser. The green indicator showing the key is in on position. • Turn on Laser The laser can be enabled individually by turn on the Module 1&2. The default driving current for each module is 4A, way below the lasing threshold.

    18 D-Light-HP-200 operation manual • Shut down the laser system Click Module 1 & Module 2 to make sure they turn grey green. The driving current should automatically set to 4A. Click “STOP” button. Service and Maintenance The D-light diode laser system is a maintenance-free device. Periodic operation, maintenance, and service of this laser are not required.
  • Page 19  Fill the RMA form as instructed.  Pack the diode laser system in its original package box.  Ask Raytum Photonics to provide one in case the original package box is not available.  Ship the package to: Raytum Photonics LLC.
