Congratulations on your purchase
of the Hotelslicer ® !
All you need to do now is assemble your
Hotelslicer ready for use. The upright
stainless-steel guide (1) is very easy to
fit: simply secure it to the bottom of the
stainless-steel frame (3) by tightening the
knob (2) at the bottom. Now you are ready
to insert the blade (4). Hold the blade
downwards at an angle and manoeuvre
it through the recesses. The blade will
not dislodge from the guide as a result of
normal slicing movements.
Cleaning
When you want to clean the Hotelslicer,
simply remove the blade in the same way
you inserted it. Remove the guide by un-
screwing the knob at the bottom. Next,
remove the granite slabs. These should
be washed separately; all other parts can
go in the dishwasher. When placing the
Hotelslicer frame in the dishwasher, make
sure that the widest part is facing upwards.
This will allow it to drip dry. The guide
should be placed upright in the dishwasher
so that it occupies a minimum of space and
does not collect any water. The blade can
be placed in any position.
Important!
The blade glides through the plastic
guides/recesses with 0.10 millimetre
precision. As these guides expand
slightly during the hot dishwashing
cycle they should be given time
to cool off before you replace the
blade.
The blade should be used for slicing
bread only: any other use may result
in accidents.
Please treat the Hotelslicer with care.
Clean it regularly and check the
plastic wear strip (5), replacing it in
good time.
