Marine Depot Overflow Box is a high quality and economical hang-on overflow box that allows you to easily add a sump,
refugium or wet/dry filter to your aquarium filtration system. These overflow boxes allow you to skim water from the
surface of the aquarium and deliver it to your external filter without the need of expensive modifications to your
aquarium. U-tube design allows for easy and convenient installation. Adjustable pre-filter height allows you to adjust the
water level inside your aquarium.

- Page 2 Assembly Instructions: 1. Unscrew the nut from the bulkhead assembly. Install the bulkhead with the rubber gasket inside the overflow body. Hand tighten the nut from the bottom of the overflow body. Insert the PVC Pipe with Vent Tube into the bulkhead opening on the inside of the overflow body.
- Page 3 3. Decide on where you wish to position your overflow. It is always best to position your overflow body as far away from your return line as possible. This will help minimize turbulence and excess air bubbles getting into your overflow.
- Page 4 11. The Marine Depot Overflow Box is designed to automatically restart after a power outage, or if the return pump is turned off then turned back on. The U-Tube should remain full of water when the return pump is off. You can test for functionality by simple turning off your return pump for 1-2 minutes, once the return pump is switched back on, the siphon should automatically continue.
