1. SAFETY HAZARDS Only authorised and trained personnel are allowed to operated the machine. Do not service or inspect the machine before the machine has been locked out. Only authorised personnel are allowed to service or inspect electrical panels wiring and equipment. Stand clear off machine during bale loading. - Page 3 Never enter or stand on top of the machine dur- ing operation. Never reach inside the feed chamber. Do not wear loose clothing when operating the machine Failure can result in serious injury or death Flying objects such as stones, tines and other foreign material can be ejected through the front of the machine.
- Page 4 2. Daily Operation and Checks Check the condition of ham- mers, ripper bar blades and screen daily. This can be done by climbing into the feed chamber after ma- chine lock out and visual in- spection with a hand held torch.

The drum rotation should be upwards toward the heavy duty counter bars. The starters must be placed in good view and proximity of the machine operator.
