2. Daily Operation and Checks Check the condition of ham- mers, ripper bar blades and screen daily. This can be done by climbing into the feed chamber after ma- chine lock out and visual in- spection with a hand held torch.

3. START AND USE Prior to start-up Inspect the hammer mill for any damages that could have occurred during transport. For hydraulically driven models ensure that all hy- draulic fittings and piping are connected and tightened. There are only two pipes that need to be connected during assembly.
