  • Page 4 Cigar Throttle. 6. The Cigar Throttle is designed with high power Neodymium magnets that hold it to your gas tank. It only works on Steel Tanks. It will not work on a plastic or aluminum tank. It also will not work on highly waxed surfaces.

  • Page 17 If you notice the Cigar Throttle is getting hot to the touch set it down on the tank and leave it alone. Your cigar should go out once it burns down to the lock bearings beneath the lock ring.
  • Page 18 YOUR HANDLEBARS! ALWAYS PUT THE CIGAR THROTTLE DOWN FIRST AND WAIT UNTIL YOU SAFELY PULL OFF THE ROAD AND STOP! The Cigar Throttle isn’t designed to work at speeds below 35 mph as this may not provide enough airflow to keep your cigar lit.

    A few soft paper towels and some rubbing alcohol should be sufficient to clean the Cigar Throttle. We do not recommend using water to clean the Cigar Throttle as there are a few CHROME PLATED steel parts that may EVENTUALLY rust.
  • Page 20 5. Use a toothpick or paperclip to make sure the 6 vent holes in the saddle are not obstructed with ash or debris. 6. Repeat steps 2 – 5 until the Cigar Throttle is clean. 7. Replace the Spring, Pin, and Cap.
  • Page 21 We recommend you insert the cigar into the Cigar Throttle and note where the band is in relation to the lock bearings. If the band is directly under the lock bearings, you’re fine. If not, carefully remove your cigar and attempt to move the band so it will be directly beneath the lock bearings.
