The Bike Stand Plate and its sub components are used to replace the exiting
resistance hardware on the Ascent and Bell Motivator Stationary Bike stands with
a plate to hold a motor/generator or alternator to produce power as you ride to
recharge batteries to run electrical devices as you exercise.

Run an adjustable Belt (Not Supplied) around the bike wheel and the alternator pulley and adjust as needed so that when the bike wheel is turned the alternator shaft turns. Ensure that the belt and generator pulley are aligned by loosening the Allen set screw on the generator pulley, reposition the pulley and tighten the set screw.
