Part number 100-0001 (Extension Plate not shown) The Bike Stand Plate and its sub components are used to replace the exiting resistance hardware on the Ascent and Bell Motivator Stationary Bike stands with a plate to hold a motor/generator or alternator to produce power as you ride to recharge batteries to run electrical devices as you exercise.

1. Un-wrap the bike stand plate and remove all the components. 2. Lay out the Bike stand plate and the extension plate as shown. 3. Screw the extension plate into the bike stand plate until they touch. For Part Number 100-0001...

4. Ensure that the Charge controller and power monitor attachment holes are facing up. 5. Attach the Ascent Support Plate to the bike stand plate in the location as shown using 2 ¼ -20 x 1” long hex head screws and tighten using a 7/16” socket and ratchet.

10. Replace the outlet in the box, tighten down the screws and install the outlet cover. 11. Place the Bike Stand Plate on a flat surface as shown. 12. Place the diversion load on the plate at attach with 2 10-32 x 3/8” screws.

19. Tighten the Nut against the Plate using a 9/16” wrench. 20. Using a second wrench tighten the outside nut to the inside nut. 21. Repeat these steps to attach the Stud to the Bike stand Plate For Part Number 100-0001 3/17/2009 Rev A...

Tighten the nut. Attach the Extension Plate if desired (Shown) if needed following steps in Procedure for attaching the Bike Stand Plate to the Bell Motivator Stationary bike stand 22. Insert the supplied shim between the edge of the plate and the bike bracket and tap it in with a hammer.
