CONTENTS
The Ukulele Rack ships in 2 cartons*:
• One contains 2 sides
• One contains 2 round stickers, 2 black rings,
12 wood rails, 2 handles, felt*, dowels & vinyl sleeves**,
these instructions, and the following hardware:

1. Stand the 2 sides up vertically, with the rail recesses facing each other. They should be a little
farther apart than the length of the rails. You might find it easier to stand them up on their sides
as shown in Figure 1. It might also be helpful to lean each side against a chair to keep it upright.
2. Place the rails loosely in position by inserting a long hex screw through the holes in the sides
and into the holes in the ends of the rails. This will establish the rail positions and support both ends of the rails at this point.

A. Refer to Figure 2A for placement of the rails.
B. Refer to Figure 2B to note the long and short ends of 3 of the rails (#1, #2 and #4). The long
ends of the rails should be to the right, with the peg holes toward the top of the rail. This is
true no matter which side of the rack you are looking at. They should all be the same; otherwise,
the ukes on the top level will hit each other). Rails #3 and #5 are symmetrical, so it doesn't
matter how you place them.
C. When placing the rails #1, insert the handles into the recesses on the
outside faces of the sides before inserting the screws. (Figure 2C)
