Repairs, alterations or modifications must only be car- ried out by specialist personnel. Considerable damage can be caused by improper repairs. The Thermo Haake service department is at your disposal for repair work. Do not operate the unit with wet or oily hands.

Information concerning the CE sign 3.3 Information concerning the CE sign Thermo Haake measuring and control instruments carry the CE sign which confirms that they are compatible with the EU guideline 89/336/EEC (electromagnetic compatibility). The tests are carried out according to module H (official sheet L380 of the European Community) as our quality assurance system is certified according to DIN / ISO 9001.
Flow-Through Cooler DK15 The DK15 is designed to be integrated within the heat trans- fer liquid circuit of e.g. a heating circulator. The heat is re- moved from the heat transfer liquid as it is pumped through Heating / Open-bath circulator the cooler.
Thermo Haake baths with a volume of up to approx. 20 liters are cooled to below –5°C. The graphs in chapter 8 show tem- peratures and cooling times using Thermo Haake circula- tors.

Thermo Haake Bath Bridge Slide the supplied metal plates into the slot above the cooling coil. Remove the covering plate on the Thermo Haake bath bridge by unscrewing two screws. Insert the evaporator through the opening and secure the fitted plates with 4 screws.
The flow-through cooler must only be used with heat transfer liquids with a freezing point below –30°C. If the heat transfer liquid were to freeze in the heat exchanger of the DK15, the resulting volume expansion could cause the heat exchanger to burst.
