Please take a few moments to read through this manual and warnings for important information
about the speaker. This speaker is created to fit on the Pringles® can. The can should be used as the sound box.

PRECAUTIONS
Before placing the speaker onto the Pringles® can, empty and clean the can.
•
Do not use alcohol, benzine or thinner to clean the unit.
•
Do not use the unit in places which are extremely hot, cold, dusty or humid.
•
Do not keep the unit near a heater.
•
Do not expose to direct sunlight.
•
Do not open the battery lid with wet hands.
•
Do not loosen the 3 screws locking the speaker base.
•
Be cautious, high volume levels may cause permanent damage to the hearing.
•
Do not insert any object into the Pringles® can.
•
Avoid overextending and pulling the speaker.
•
Do not put loose batteries in your pocket or purse.
•
Do not remove the battery label.
•

BATTERY INSTALLATION

•
To open the battery lid, first loosen the screw using a screwdriver or a small coin. Then, push the latch inwards and pull the lid open.
•
Insert 3 x AAA size, DC 1.5V batteries ("R03/UM4") in proper polarity and position.
•
Close the battery compartment and lock the latch with the screw.
•
Do not try to pull the screw lift off the lid. It is designed not to loosen from the lid.
•
Note: in case of battery and DC power source are used at the same time, the unit will default to operate from the DC power input.
It will not damage the batteries by automatically cut-off the current to the batteries.

BATTERY WARNINGS

•
Place the batteries in correct polarity and position.
•
Misplacement of batteries can cause electrolyte leakage and will corrode the compartment or cause the batteries to burst.
•
Do not mix different types of batteries. e.g. Alkaline with Carbon Zinc
•
Batteries may explode or leak and cause burn injury if recharges, exposed in fire or disassembled.
• Do not mix old batteries with new ones. Replace them all at the same time.
•
Remove the batteries if unit will not be used for a longer period of time.
•
Alkaline batteries are recommended to use for longer listening.
•
When the batteries are low, the sound will be distorted or unstable. In this case, replace all the batteries with new ones.
•
Depleted batteries should be removed from the unit.
•
The supply terminals can not be short-circuited or overloaded.
•
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
•
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
•
Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the speaker before being charged.
•
Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
•
Batteries cannot be charged via the micro USB connection.
LISTENING TO YOUR AUDIO DEVICE (MP3....)
Power ON / Power OFF
•
Remove the plastic protection sheet on top of the speaker.
•
Push the power button to turn the speaker on until a beep tone is heard.
•
The LED will light up with blue light and starts flashing every 1 second.
•
The blue LED indicate faster flashing and a beep tone afterwards signify the unit is now ready to be paired.
To turn off the unit, push the power button again until the LED indicator light goes out.
•
Please note, always make sure to turn on the speaker first before pairing to the audio device.
Bluetooth® Play Mode
•
Play your audio wireless with a Bluetooth® enabled device.
•
The range during the initial pairing process should not be more than 1 meter.
•
Once paired, playing range is within 8 meter. Note that obstructions may result in a shorter range.
•
Follow the pairing instructions of your smartphone or other Bluetooth® device.
•
Select "device name" from the searching list and press OK to pair the speaker. Device name can be found at the back case of the
speaker and no password is needed.
•
When pairing is completed, you will hear a beep tone and see a blue LED light flashing every 3 seconds.
•
Now the wireless speaker is ready for listening to music.
•
After this first pairing, the devices will connect automatically.
•
Adjust the volume and select a song from your audio device(s).
•
The speaker can be used without batteries via the micro USB plug.

Aux./Line-in Play Mode

In case Bluetooth® is not preferred to connect with the speaker, the speaker is also compatible with 3.5mm audio
•
cable (not included). Please only use this type of cable to connect.

ADJUSTING THE VOLUME

• Adjust the volume level from your audio device.
• Make sure the sound starts from the lower volume level.
• Turn off the Mega Bass function and lower the volume level of your audio device, as it may be too loud and cause sound distortion.
