Intended Use The Corn Cracker is a Hammer Mill designed and built by Lankota Inc and is intended to grind corn and other grain for the consumption of livestock. The Corn Cracker is designed to be pulled by a ROPS-equipped tractor of 120 PTO horsepower or more.

Even when the plates are all the way in, the tips of the hammers will not be able to contact the edge of the shear plates.
