To solve the issue of a deleted miter (machine data loss) on a STARLINGER V Series loom machine:

1. Cut off and then switch on the main switch to reset the loom control.
2. Re-enter the machine number in the loom control.
3. Perform the parameter setting of the works.

These steps restore the necessary machine data and configuration.

The features of the STARLINGER V Series looms include:

1. Manual Haul-Off Control: Accessible from the main menu; allows adjustment of haul-off speed to 10% of maximum when the key switch and [+] key are held.

2. Roll Change Setting: Can be configured through the main menu.

3. Weft Break Impact: Describes theoretical fabric reduction due to weft breaks—e.g., 50% for 4 shuttles, 33% for 6, and 25% for 8.

4. Error Detection and Troubleshooting: Includes error messages for haul-off transmitter pulse issues, winder tension, main motor overheating, and slitting device readiness.

5. Safety Instructions: Emphasizes the presence of dangerous electrical tension and mechanical parts, requiring qualified personnel for operation and maintenance.

  • Page 5 Page 4 TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION Functional description: The loom control works on basis of an electrical gearing. An impulse transmitter mounted on the shed drive, detects the speed of the shed drive and transfers it to the loom control. The loom control calculates the speed of the shed drive with the factor of the weft insertion (Picks/10 cm or picks/inch) and controls the haul-off motor.
