Hello. Brand new rechargeable batteries and the 837 radio still will not work. It does work plugged into outlet.
Can I open it to see?

No, the Sun-Mate 837 radio should not be opened for inspection. Modifying or tampering with the internal components can cause a malfunction and void the warranty.

@Mary Montanez Adding to my question, the rechargeable batteries work on other appliances, and I have cleaned the connections with alcohol, baking soda, vinegar. Will opening radio destroy anything regardless of warranty void?
