Why are my settings
different from my
friends'?
Yep, we really can. The existing hardware allows us to tweak and
improve your experience by taking advantage of the microphone
and audio processing capabilities already available inside the buds.
That's how we can add a feature like ANC without even touching
your headset!
The update will be released on October 19th, 2020. To ensure that
you have updated your earbuds with ANC, make sure both the
Sound+ app and the headset are up to date with the latest versions.
In Sound+, the ANC feature can be enabled under 'Sound modes',
as well as a setting option in MyControls.
In the Sound+ app you can active ANC the first time you use it and
then enable toggling between ANC and HearThrough via your earbud
button. You'll need to be in a noisy environment to be able to hear
any adjustments.
Once you've done this, it will be available to be switched on and off in
Sound+. For quick access to ANC – via a single, double or triple tap on
either earbud button – you can head to the MyControls menu within
the app, and configure the button control there.
For ANC to work best, it's important the earbuds are sealed correctly.
If your earbuds are not the right fit, sound will escape and your ANC
experience won't sound as strong.
We recommend testing different sizes of earbuds to get the right fit
and the most optimal seal for ANC.
The passive noise cancellation in Elite Active 75t is already class
leading, effectively reducing high frequency noise. Adding ANC
will further reduce the lower frequency sounds like those from air
conditioners, buses and airplanes, as well as busy spaces.
The ANC experience is an individual one. How your ANC works depends
on the characteristics of your ear canal – which is most likely pretty
different from your friends'!
