Do not leave packaging materials like bags and staples within the reach of children and pets. • This appliance is approved solely for use in accordance with the description and safety instructions specified in this user manual.

    Description of parts Blade Hook Guide plate Head protection Power head Lock-off switch On/off switch Battery Attaching the blade Remove the battery from the battery compartment before attaching the saw blade. Turn the locking dial by hand in the direction of the arrow. Firmly insert the blade into the blade clamp and release the locking dial.
  • Page 8 Pull the head protection plate (4) forwards to open the hooks, then carefully slot these onto the end of the power tool until it clicks into place. To remove or change the blade, remove the hooks by releasing the head protection plate (4) and lifting them off, then turn the locking dial and carefully pull the blade out again.

    Charging the battery Plug the charger into the mains power supply and the indicator light will be green. Slide the battery pack onto the charger, the light will turn to red to indicate that the charging process has started. When charging is complete, the light will turn back to green. Once the battery is fully charge, unplug the charger and remove the battery pack.

    Your trigger is locked off to prevent accidental start up once the battery is inserted. Press the lock-off button and the on/off trigger at the same time and this will release the lock-off. You are now able to use the saw. Mark the cut line clearly before cutting.
