INTRODUCTION
The Super Scanner™ V is a compact, lightweight, durable
and easy-to-operate hand-held metal detector. It is ideally
suited for use in any security situation to detect metal
objects on a person's body. It is capable of detecting a
paper clip from 7" (17.7cm) away. The factory set sensitiv-
ity can be adjusted and an Interference Elimination Button
will decrease the sensitivity to detect much larger metal
objects, bypassing loose change and keys.
Physical contact is not necessary on body searches due
to the pinpoint accuracy of the MDWAND. The Super
Scanner™ V detects all metals, both ferrous, nonferrous,
and stainless steel. A red LED indicates whenever metal

Interference Elimination Button—The detector is factory set for maximum sensitivity to detect the smallest of items. This high level of sensitivity may produce alarms when approaching a floor containing rebar. Press and hold this button to decrease sensitivity to a level that does not respond to the rebar.
